 Need Self Contained Power Source for LED Lights in stealth grow

I'm thinking of using white LED lights, probably something pretty small like 5 watts, to light a stealth grow. I'm looking to do two things.
1) Power the lights with a reasonably small, concealable power source. The main goal here is to NOT have a wire going from my grow-box to the wall and looking all suspicious.
2) A secondary goal is to set the lights to come on at specific times. I don't plan on giving them any light at all until the cakes are birthed and dunked, and even then I'll only need them to go for maybe 4 hours.
The main thing is that it be as hands-free as possible. My room mate is a variable- I don't know how he'd feel about me growing, and I'm not sure he wouldn't run and tell the cops the second I ticked him off if he did know I had mushies growing under my bed. So, to avoid being blackmailed or anything like that, I want this to be as simple as possible.

Tap Lights and rechargable batteries work wonders for stealth grows.

I am not too worried about it. He's a frequent stoner so I think once I know him better I will let him in on the secret. I mean, he's not going to rat me out if he knows I'll share.  Also pretty soon I'll have a secure location, I have a close friend who said he'd be willing to let me use his apartment.
Now, tap lights? I don't think I've ever heard of those. Sounds like it's time to hit google!
