Yes, unless THIS was the last year of my life
I wonder how many people would trade the last 5 or even 10 years of their lives for a million dollars right now . Wouldn't have to waste all those years at work (unless you are one of those few people who have a job they love) .

I bet with that million dollars you could live a much healthier and relaxed life and end up living a few years longer anyway.....unless your gonna get hit by a car tomorrow.

Oh I thought it was "would you trade the most recent year of your life for a million bucks". That's a much trickier one. The last 12 months have been the best I've ever had, so I don't know if I would just give up all I've experienced and accomplished in that time for some money.
But the way the question was originally intended? Sure, of course.

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. -- `Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' -- Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.

Heres an even better one. Would you take a million dollars now in exchange for a year off of the life of whoever (not you) you love most in this world.

If you knew when that 'last year' would be, sounds good..no? A million bucks right now would set me up to be able to do everything I want, make millions more and live the great life. A year off at the end would do fine.
