I do believe the spore do have medicinal value. However! If you saw how many spore they dropped you'd say holy crap!

I just spawned two bags with grain and a couple jars, so I hope to find out soon! Going to try and get the bags to do conks, and the jars antlers.

Lipa, you are an amazing grower. I am blown away with the quality of what you do. Beautiful fruits on everything there. Well done.

Nice harvest Lipa!
Do you have an estimate (or cold hard numbers) on wet weight?
Also, you make tea yet and how does it taste?

What kind of conditions would you set for jars of oak sawdust (supplemented- wheat bran) for antler formation?
High humidity and relatively low FAE? what about light exposure?

For antlers, high co2 is what keeps them going. they seem to be phototropic, I have my bag on a shelf near a window. sometimes I move it down closer to the window.
I think it is the exposure to lower co2 that triggers conk formation, so you can let the stems grow for a little while, then if you want conks with stems, give them more fae.
good luck and post pics!

I'll try to fruit the jars I've got going soon. However, I don't have a way to keep the humidity high. Actually, most of the time, it sits in the mid-30 to 40's range. (Pretty crappy if you ask me.) I haven't tried hooking up a humidifier of any type just yet- but when I get the time, I'll probably start doing that. Hopefully, that will be in the next couple of weeks.

Hey Lipa,
Glad to see you are doing so well with the Reishi!
As for who asked, the culture is one I'd been working with for a while from a commercial culture place not a shroomery vendor/sponsor
