it really is, i was very surprised, it tastes pretty similar to pork bacon, but with a nice beef flavor, similar to beef jerky.  i highly recommend it.

just dont want to, i know people argue whether its a dirty meat, and both sides of the argument are compelling, but i just choose not to eat it. i raised pigs with my uncle and theyre not an animal i want to consume.  any animal that will willingly eat its own shit when there is food lying around is disgusting lol.

im on the fence as to whether or not i would eat wild pork, it is WORMY, however they probably eat a much better diet than domesticated pigs.

Considering that the chance of getting trichinosis from domestic pigs are pretty much 0 today in the US, it's safe to eat when cooked to medium.  Legislation has prevented the feeding of raw-meat garbage to hogs, along with more sanitary conditions of raising pigs are of higher standards from a decade ago.

I really wish to try this beef bacon now.  I've never seen it sold before, and never even fathomed it existed.  I eat turkey bacon myself as I was raised around pigs and don't consume pork either.
