If you EVER visit Reno DO NOT go to the bar Java Vino on first street *unless you plan to rob it and kill the bartenders there*. I had a problem tonight. I went in there with a friend and we ordered two glasses of wine, then we went outside to smoke a cigarette, and we told the bartender, but he still threw our drinks away. I came in and looked around going "Okay, where's our drinks." The guy looked at us and said "I threw them away, your tab is 13 bucks now pay up or I'll call the cops." I looked at the faggot dipshit and was like "Okay, you want us to PAY for two glasses of wine we JUST ordered and you threw out? Fuck you." I walked out and the guy started threatening first to call the cops. After me and my buddy started laughing at him he threatene to kick our asses if we ever came back. I'm wondering if I should go back and kick the guy's ass for threatening me and for stealing my money. As a server this is unacceptable behavior. I emailed their owner (of the bar), but I doubt action will be taken. I paid the fucker most of the bill (including teh shit he threw away).
What do you guys think? I'm thinking before I move out f reno, I"m going to spraypaint all over their windows (SCAMMER, LIAR, THIEF), shit like that, if the employer doesn't take action against this bartender, (which I doubt he will).
Fuck this city. Really.

the customer does him a favor by patronizing the establishment

I will have a face to face w/ the owner. I have emailed them and asked for names and mentioned that I would like to press charges against this prick, but would Not like to press anything against the company itself, as I've had superior service up until now from the bar. I want to fuck this guy over, not the bar.

when you speak with him, you're already in control, you need to
stay calm, dont go into ANY details about the incident, he
already heard about it, be short, assertive and confident
have your meeting at a booth or at the bar, the office is his
court, dont even bother with an introduction
wear a watch, mind your posture and make sure you're positioned
where you have to pass him in order to leave, his back to the
door is where you'd like it
"your bartender caused me a great embarrassment in front of my
guest and your other patrons on friday, as opposed to coming to
a reasonable understanding he decided to show his ass, it
distresses me because this doesnt just reflect poorly on me with
the guest that I was entertaining, but from the scene your
customers witnessed it also may prove to be an embarrassment to
your establishment. I enjoy my patronage here and I'd like know
that it will continue"
when he want details or any questions, simply reassure him that
he knows how to handle it and you are confident that the outcome
will be satisfactory. excuse yourself by checking your watch,
stand and start past him, pause and thank him for looking into
the matter
do not let the man have an inch, if the man is allowed to think
for himself while you're there he's going to fuck something up,
he might even begin to think that he runs his bar and isnt just
the dick that signs the checks, dont let him bother you with
questions, or try making excuses, just walk out.

You shouldn't have paid the tab. If he insists on calling the cops, hang out until the cops get there so they can't get you for stealing. Explain it to the cops and if the cops make you pay...then pay. But if you tell the cop the bar tender is ripping you off he will probably not help him.
If you order a drink and you never got it there is no reason to pay for it.
