 Printing...outside prints for inside use?

Is it possible to use a print from an outside grow, and make it so i can use it inside?
Im sure its possible since all mushrooms originate from outside, and were brought inside somehow. But my question is, how would i go about doing this?

Make a spore syringe. Yes it will work. There are several teks. Use the search function. If you have no luck I'll be glad to point you to one.

Just print them like you would print an indoor shroom normally. Try to be as sterile as possible, wipe the cap with 70% iso and print. If you can, get a mushroom where the veil has not yet broken, so that you can remove it yourself and result in a cleaner print. It is likely though that you will still have to clean it up on agar before using it on grain, etc.

Tripsis, how would i go about getting the print out of an unbroken veil?

actually, the best thing to do, is to, using sterile procedure, slice it open, and take a chunk out of the mushroom.. then take that chunk and put in your jar of choice, and you will, in essence, clone that shroom.. grow that jar, and use that jar to make new jars.. then make perfect, sterile prints (that you KNOW are sterile) from the mushies you grow...
If the veil is broken, more than likely the spores will be un-kosher.. its always worth a shot, though...

It depends on the species/strain and when it start sporulating. Cubes often start before the veil is broken so if you pick it and take the veil off yourself it should still drop spores. Print as you normally would, just make sure when you are removing the veil you don't touch the gill with anything.

i know how to make a multi-spore syringe. 
I was wondering about how to make a spore print from an outside mushy, and be able to use it inside still.
but no worries, im going to clone one, and print the other, ive found a pretty decent way to do so.

Ohhh my bad I'm really sick, and tried to answer quick. Fuck alcohol. Well, you could use agar tek to isolate a strain if you wanted. It takes awhile IMO to get it right. I know someone who did it, but I have never done it personally. I really don't know much past that.

You'd be better off cleaning them up on agar first. Even from the inner stem you can get contaminants.

You can give it a go but you won't be assured a clean culture. If you don't want to do agar work you can but try.
Wiping the outer stipe would probably help minimise cross-contamination with the interior. Try using tissue from where the stipe meets the cap. Break it rather than cut it to open it up, then flame a blade and cut a small section out.

It's a good, solid area to take tissue from. Stems are often hollow so it can be difficult to get tissue from inside them. Where the stipe and cap meets there a a fair bit of solid, well enclosed tissue so it makes getting clean tissue easier. I've also found the tissue in the cap to be good.

If you want a clean print from outside, print it for 4 hours then change paper (Throw away), print again for 4 hours then change paper again(Throw away), then leave it over night and the print your left with is going to be as clean as your gonna get it.

hm. interesting.
well i did my clone. i just cut it out of the stem...well kinda rubbed the scissors upward on the inside until membrane peeled back or whatever its called and dropped it in my honey water solution.
im printing 3 caps right now too.
my mushies are drying.
yay!
fan drying them...sucks but all i got...im gonna check the RH of my area to see whats up.
ill let you guys know the dry weight as soon as i know.
