 Salvia 10x- Not strong enough?

I just burned through approx. 1 gram of salvia 10x extract over the course of two hours with very minimal effects.First I tried 2 hits from a pipe with a regular lighter- at best got a slight high that lasted maybe 45 minutes. An hour later I did a hit from a bong with a butane lighter. I feel like I was Nearly there, but the bong slide was broken and I was having trouble keeping it in place and smoking at the same time lol.
Is 10x just not strong enough for me then?

how long did you hold your hits, and did you hold the flame on it for the whole hit?

dude...put it in a bong and burn the shit out of it with a torch and hold it...and repeat process til you dont know what a bong is or how to work it anymore

I'm going to try again. Before we had used a bong with a butane torch lighter, but the stem was broken and I was not getting as much smoke as I should have. Hopefully I'll get better results next try.

10x is plenty strong
plain leaf is even plenty strong if you have your reverse tolerance built up

I also found that the smoke from salvia (int he bong) was a LOT stronger than cannabis. I nearly coughed from the bong hit (packed a bowl nearly overflowing) and could only hold it for about ten seconds. Which is better, completely burning through a smaller bowl and holding it for maybe thirty seconds, or packing a full bowl and holding it for ten like I did?

with an extract, packing a smaller bowl and holding longer would be better, salvinorin is absorberb by the lungs about 10 times slower than cannabinoids, and the goal with salvia is to get as much past the blood brain barrier within two minutes as possible
