These are some pics I took while on a quick trip to backwoods PA. It had been raining almost daily, so everything was very wet. All of these were found within a ten minute walk of one another.
I just wanted to share the pics more than anything else, but if anyone wants to give the IDs a go, you're more than welcome
I found several Boletes
1:
these were tiny
2:
close by:
3:
4:
5:
these were younger ones coming up, i forgot to take a pic of them 2 days later fully developed

6:
7:
under a beech tree
8:
those last two a day later:

and an older one:

some weird ones
9:
10:
11:
old oysters?
11:
another log:
12:
others:
13:
14:
15:
16:
a little button, 17:
and a hungry snail

Wow, those are some really good photos. That black, wet mushroom pictured above the purple Russula is interesting. I have no idea what it is.
I like the snail.

You have some great pics there. Nice variety of mushrooms. Those second mushrooms with the red pores looks cool, as does the purple coral one...and the rest!

I like the pics man. What kind of camera do you use? I like the Amanitas as well. I am jealous that you found a muscaria though. I have been looking for one for over a week.

thanks everyone.
yeah, that black one was very strange. at first glance it looks like something old and rotten, but it was in its prime. it had a leathery, velvety texture. the picture doesn't do the texture justice since it was just after some rain. the bumps on top came out shiny from being so wet.
my camera is a nikon d80. i spent most of the trip practicing my macro taking skills. here are a couple of my favs

i'm starting to look into some macro lenses for even cooler shots
