I'm sorry, but Nicola Tesla invented not one thing prior to his arrival in the US. Dance all you please..
When I said nuclear power I meant to say the Manhattan Project.
I believe it was the US that landed on the Moon and not the Russians?

Could you sail ships through the Spanish or French Panama canal? Uhmm.. no. You couldn't.
Flight? Why don't you just claim that birds invented flight first? I meant motorized flight, and if you weren't on a crusade to be right you'd have known that.
Americans were the first to show that Iron ships were a viable naval weapon.

Didn't say otherwise. Well, the Soviets landed on the moon first with an unmanned spacecraft, but that's besides that point.

He's one of the inventors, and I listed him as such, but he's not the sole inventor. Look up the names I gave you to learn of their individual contributions.

Because we are talking about human flight as an accomplishment, not the existence of flight. The Wright brothers used the successes of previous human flight pioneers and advanced from there. They weren't the impetus of successful human flight, which is what the assertion of "flight" looks to be trying to say.

The British built the first all-iron warship. The French built the first ironclad warship. I think the first known Iron-hulled warship was the British Nemesis.
