What do you guys think of Beck? I only really like to listen to his stuff when I'm tripping, but they have a few good sober songs. I love this video.

Beck is prolific. and one of my favorite musicians... fucking back catalog is insane. Remixed by EVERYBODY.
Listening to the new album now.

I was never that big of a fan of Beck. Most of his music seemed to be weirdness for its own sake.

I don't see that. If anything he's a tad too mainstream for my taste.
'nutrider'...ha!

I love Beck.
He has tons of great material. Mellow Gold is probably my favorite album of all time.

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. -- `Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' -- Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.

Can you hook me up with a .rar link for Modern Guilt or any of his albums for that matter?
I've listened to most of the new album on Youtube and I certainly like it. Chemtrails and Volcano especially.

Nope, but try BT Junkie.
Or look for a discography on TPB. Serious, he has like five or six remix albums w/ fucking MAD remixes of all his songs and heaps of live performances.
One with him playing with the Flaming Lips when they played around here. (Austin)...interviews, all sortsa wild shit.
His mom had a rap group and hung out with Andy Warhol. or Andy Dick?...one of those fruit loops.

Just got a hold of a ton of Becks music. Hes my new favorite artist right now. Oh and check this shit out...
Possible subliminal messages about mars and aliens when Beck's song Timebomb is played backwards. I think it's pretty iffy but you never know. Intentional or coincidence?
