i bought a cacti at wally world that looked an awful lot like pachanoi or peruvianus and hoping i could get a more acurate id
i was using lyzdapipes wallyworld cacti thread as a guide
the camera lighting dosent do detail much justice, but ill get more pics tomarrow in daylight
each areola has hair on it, making the cactus look quite hairy

ahh, i tried to put the images in and everytime i did, they would show up as red x boxes, go back in and try to se whats up, and the entire link in each[image,/image] thing was gone.

Yeah, I'm sure. Perhaps some kind of mamillaria or some kinda tricho that I have yet to see, but it would be an odd one for sure. I have no idea what it is, but its neat.

It looks like a Oreocereus of some sort.

I got a few of these from wally world a few years ago, theyre about 4 feet now and beautiful. Take care of it man,and youll be giving that thing dreads in no time

i'm gonna re awaken this thread with pics of new wally world cacti, i looked through thoroghly and these were the closest to pach and perv i could find what do you think they are (these are smaller, about a dollar a piece

the one on the right in first pic is Pilocereus Azureus. maybe thats now how it is spelled though

If you really want some Trich's, try looking for cacti nurseries in your area.

Yep, what are you doing with those cacti anyways? They are cool non-the-less and they can be good for legitimizing your future collection to family, friends, police etc lol.

I'm fairly sure the one on the left is a Cereus Tetragonus.
