i dont have fucking epilepsy there is no family history. i dont have it. trust me, when i went to do my sleep studies for sleep walking they tested for all that shit.
and thats what i was thinking, i need to eat next time. but i hear if you do them on an empty stomach and drink oj youll have some awesome experiences. Which in fact i did. im pretty sure all that happened was i blacked out and tensed up.
its prolly from sitting and smoking 3 blunts, then getting up to walk away from my friends and then sitting down. i prolly got a headrush.
but i still cant believe how shrooms made me feel like the world is so huge. that we are just one tiny thing in this big mass of earth. i could feel energy from everywhere. even from crickets. i could feel vibes good and bad from things.
i felt like the crickets had a neutral vibe,
and one of my friends had a good vibe, because he was actually listening to me, while the other friend "B" was giving me a weird vibe...like he didnt wanna listen.
shit, if i have to blackout to have these wonderful experiences then so be it.
OH!!!! one more thing, blow the end of a blunt! the lil cherrys that fly off look amazing.
its strange how thats really all that fucked me up, i didnt see patterns or distortions in light. i just felt energy and vibes. is that odd?

its odd that i wasnt excited over colors. the blunt thing was cool
we watched fireworks but they were over before i peaked.
i took em at like 10 and they didnt kick in really until 1130.

i dont wanna do it like that. i dont mind that they took a minute to kick in. i think if they kicked in within 20 minutes id freak. last night was my first time tripping. so i think ill take it slow.

yeah but i wasnt turned on by color at all! i thought there were more colors and shit.
but this was a pleasant surprise!!!

i would just be getting that shit checked by a doc i believe you can develop epilepsy my mate after a few times on shrooms starting having siesures had to stop driving and everything lights videogames never set him off but after stopping tripping for 2 years he was fully tested again and pronounced siesure free and is bak to driving etc and hasn't had one since

it's not exactly normal. like i said, only 3% of people given lsd had seizures. assuming it's the same for psilocybin, you're still in the great minority.
if you had a seizure, you probably should not trip again. however, i bet you could get away with it if you took a medication that lowers your seizing threshold before tripping.
try a long acting benzodiazepine like clonazepam. if you have no benzo tolerance, .5-1 mg of clonazepam before your trip should prevent any seizures from occurring. if it doesn't, try taking 2 or 3 mg (although at this dose, it may dull some of the effects of the trip).

Its funny that i stumbled upon this. I just tried shrooms about a few days ago for my first time and i tensed up and had a slight seizure.
1. I had gotten up very early that day i was very tired over tired
2. I had not eaten anything all day and i was starting to trip at night about 8 9 o clock. i was afraid to eat becuse i thought i wouldnt get high. i was lacking sugar and food and just low sugar can cause you to pass out I have read on here
3. I SMOKED A JOINT!!!! I am telling you as soon as i smoked a J it was all different. I was so happy before I remember walking around,smiling,laughing thinking it was the best thing in the world!! Soon as i hit the joint my ears were ringing i was sweating so bad paranoia set in i mean BAD.and i walked up to my back door grabbed the nob and just passed out on the door. I mean i started sliding down the door.
I dont remember being out. I remember it all i remember the person who caught me
But he said i was out and tensing up.I wonder if it was some kind of Out of body experience Because i remember it all
I think i passed out from a combo of these three things But mainly the weed did it for me. I am not afraid of shrooms the whole experience was still amazing.
I dont think i will ever smoke weed on shrooms for a long time or maybe ever again.

You might want to get double checked. If you had blacked out your arms and legs would go limp its part of the symptoms of blacking out. but Tonic seizures cause the muscles to stiffen, but no twitching occurs. These seizures usually affect the back, arms, and legs. People who have tonic seizures lose consciousness for about 10 seconds. sounds more like that then black out where you have to lay the person down or risk blood not making it head and damage happening because of a very low heart rate.
It could have just been a paroxysmal event "non epileptic seizure" caused by the drugs.
But with over 1500 types of epilepsy with as many different types of seizures happening you might want to get checked out just to be safe.
