 First Time, 4th of July

It started out as me leaving college to meet up with my old friend half a state away to prepare some rye grain. I didnt plan on eating anything that day but my friend informed me they were going to do some acid and other people were going to do some mushrooms. I have read that in order to have a good experience it should be with people you would only eat lunch with and in a very comfortable environment. Even though I hadnt planned on having my first trip that night, I knew this was a perfect time. First attempt at a grow & trip all in the same night with a few of my best friends.
We all ate about a half 1/8th, and everyone else took one blotter. There where seven us in all and it took about 45 minutes to feel the effects. The location was a house out in the country and we went up the street on a hill to see the fireworks off in the distance at the city. It was a very humid and foggy night so we couldnt see much so we went back to our house. We decided to build a fire and then this is where it started kicking in. 3 of us started gathering firewood from a stack. We were all doing a horrible job of just picking it up and started laughing at ourselves. We lost it when my friend went to pick up an arm full of sticks and ended up dropping all of them only to end up saving only a few twigs grasped by his hand. Eventually we built the fire which took a very long time to do as we were all starting to feel it. Once the fire was built I went to check in on the grains that were sitting in hot water.
As I was preparing the grains my friend came in and we went into a different room to listen to some music. As I sat in the room we listened to a band I had never heard of before called Ween. This is where I had the best visuals. The lighting in the room changed colors to match the mood of the music and the walls breathed. I had a drumstick in my hand and it became one with my hand. Ive never been able to spin a drumstick in my hand but this time it was able to flow so freely. I looked at my friend and how was laying halfway on the ground and halfway on the couch and I laughed because I knew he was in the "sweet spot" also. A while of this and my friends girlfriend came in asking if anyone had a guitar and I told her I had mine in my car. She asked if I could use it and I said sure so I went out to get it. I remember getting my car key out and it felt so small and long in proportion. I got the guitar out and handed it to her but was having a little trouble keeping balanced, almost like I had been drinking. We all went to the fire and began talking about the crazy shit you think. All seven us sat around and talked about gravity, infinity, what happens when you die, what is the purpose of everything. At this point I was in the moment, I guess thats the only way to describe it. As I sat there and listened I felt no fear of death and very happy to be alive and at this one place on earth. Everyone agreed this was the greatest place to be on earth at the time. It felt like I could feel the entire world as I looked up into the sky we were just a band of great people sitting in our own little bubble enjoying the shit out of life. It was raining and the air had a lot of visible moisture and I thought this is a very mushroomy environment. However there were 2 large trees over us and a few of my friends were under an umbrella. This also gave me the feeling of being in our own little bubble around this fire.
As we ended the discussion my friend said, alright the trip is over, what did you guys think? We talked a little bit more and I went in to take a piss. For some reason I felt like I should of taken a piss outside, but instead I knew that wasnt what people expected so I went in the bathroom. When I looked at myself in the mirror my face began warping and changing differently. I imagined what my life would be like in 5 years and how I would look. As I thought about what I did with my life or how I groomed myself how I would look. My face changed before my eyes, different wrinkle patterns as I thought about doing different jobs, and I could wave my hand over my face if I wanted to start over. I looked at my arms and chest and imagined how I would look if I worked out and they got bigger, as I laughed they went back to normal. After this the trip was pretty much over and to sum it up, it was a great experience that I cant wait to do again.
