Poison in your food
Donald Rumsfeld and aspartame
Guess what? He faked the evidenceOther names for aspartame: Equal, Nutrasweet, Sugar Twin
What was Donald Rumsfeld doing before he collaborated with George Bush and Dick Cheney to invade and destroy Iraq (and the US economy and military in the process?)
As CEO of G.D. Searle, he pimped for a chemical called "aspartame."
For eight years, even the highly corrupt FDA refused to certify aspartame as safe because it produced seizures and brain tumors in lab animals.
Then Ronald Reagan became president and removed the FDA commissioner who was blocking its acceptance.
Rumsfeld's company followed up by presenting the FDA "new and improved" studies showing the additive to be safe. The data presented was later proven to have been falsified.
Sound familiar?
Aspartame is everywhere
Take the time to watch this video if you or loved ones consume aspartame. It is a dangerous substance that causes cumulative damage to the brain and immune system.
The following products often have aspartame in them:
* Breath Mints * Carbonated Soft Drinks * Cereals * Chewing Gum * Flavored Syrups for Coffee * Flavored Water Products * Frozen Ice * Frozen Ice Cream Novelties * Fruit Spreads * Gelatin, Sugar Free * Hard Candies * Ice cream Toppings * Ice Creams, No Sugar Added or Sugar Free * Iced Tea, Powder * Iced Tea, Ready to Drink * Instant Cocoa Mix * Jams & Jellies * Juice Blends * Juice Drinks * Maple Syrups * Meal Replacements * Mousse * No Sugar Added Pies * Non-Carbonated Diet Soft drinks * Nutritional Bars * Powdered Soft Drinks * Protein Nutritional Drinks * Pudding * Soft Candy Chews * Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup * Sugar Free Cookies * Sugar Free Ketchup * Table Top Sweeteners * Vegetable Drinks * Yogurt, Drinkable * Yogurt, Fat Free * Yogurt, Sugar Free
Let's see some real evidence, links to specific studies etc. Until I see something that doesn't appear to come from a duck's mouth, I only hear regurgitated quacking.
Wow I don't know how stupid people can get. If this won't convince you nothing will. None of that processed shit will ever be good for you. I study biochemistry and nutrition, just trust me on this. The evidence you gave is completely bought off by big poison (food?) cartels. There is no doubt that evidence of aspartame studies has been tampered with. Too bad these companies are great at damage control. We as human beings have just forgotten what our body's are supposed to eat. And they take advantage of it.
The FDA doesn't want anyone healthy. If everyone in America followed the USDA food pyramid there wouldn't be enough vegetables to and fruit to feed everyone. Congress subsidizes big companies to poison us with their "foods".
All this factory farming is ruining our air, our oceans, our environments, our bodies, our minds, our health. And it's all in the name of money. It will be the downfall of America. It's already begun.
-------------------- ABSENCE OF EVIDNCE IS NOT EVIDENCE OF ABSENCE
A man said to the universe:
"Sir, I exist!"
"However," replied the universe,
"the fact has not created in me
a sense of obligation."

Actually, I posted them in support of your position as an example of my original statement. Check and mate. Thank you.

Right, and if you look at that paper you'll see that the authors conclusion was that adverse afffects of aspartame occur at daily doses above 20 mg/kg/day of aspartame.
By the authors own admission, estimated U.S. intake is 2.5-5 mg/kg/day.
So yeah, if you averaged anywhere from 4-10 times DAILY normal intake for your entire life, you might be in trouble.
There are other issues with those paper, such as why a lot of their results aren't dose related (which is the case with many carcinogenic compounds), strain differences, gender differences, selection of control groups, whether the results affected total life span etc.
But these issues are probably beyond the scope of this forum and people not actively involved in science.

This is the kind of answer that would have proven me wrong (with respect to the reading comprehension blurb in my original post).

The :P denotes sarcasm.
