 LSD and Xanax

Last night a friend of mine bought 3 hits of some Lucy that was rumoured to be very potent. He bought one of them for me being the sweetheart he is. 
I had tripped on a some really weak blotter a couple of days ago.
Now, earlier yesterday I took 2 bars. The last quarter of the two I took was snorted at around 10 something pm. I cant remember exactly. I was all tired and was nodding off a bit.
We went to a friends house where my friend talked me into taking the hit he had purchased for me. I did.
Another friend of ours arived a few minutes later. He also had taken two from the same batch.
They apparently had epicly visual trips. The friend who bought my hit, dropped his at around 10 something pm, around when I snorted my bar. He took his second hit at around 12 or so. He told me he stopped tripping at 6:40am. He has never taken anything psychedelic before.
Now, my question is, did the bars I took earlier interfere with the acid I dropped maybe an hour and half or so after my last quarter of a bar, or what....
The only effects I got that were somewhat LSD like are visual effects I get on an almost daily basis. (Slight morphing of objects, faint patterns on things, particularly in dark rooms, Ill see creatures and strange things in the dark, sometimes very vivid intricate patterns that are always chaning on any dark surface, after images, objects getting very slightly larger and smaller, and sometimes breathing) There was no anxiety, energy surging through my body, deep/trippy thoughts, or anything LSD like except for the occasional very very mild visuals I got. My eyes were extremely dilated. I also found it difficult to sleep, but that was easily taken care of with a few beers.
Sorry if that doesnt make sense. Im kind of tired. I went to bed at 5am and woke up an hour later. Have only had 4 hours of sleep in the past two days.....bribgkrebg
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Alprazolam has a pretty long half life IIRC, so yeah, it most likely interfered with the LSD.

I went to a music festival last weekend, ate some liberty caps (first mushroom experience), had a great time and accidentally drank a water bottle containing 7 hits of acid while coming down from my mushroom trip and after my mushroom trip I wasn't ready to be tripping on 7 hits of acid so I obtained a xanax bar from my friends girlfriend and about 2 hours after ingestion (of the xanax) I was no longer tripping!

Aw bummer. Hopefully Ill be getting some free liquid L tonight sooooooo.... No bars for me for a while. Im on probation anyway. I shouldnt take chances with benzos and opiates.

Thanks for the replies guys! Ive read about Xanax's power to kill trips. I remembered as I put the tab in my mouth and by then it was too late.
