Don't bring a scale, that's really rude. At the most, ask to watch him weigh it. If it's not enough just don't go back, and demand more or a refund.
If I were to sell you weed and you brought out a scale I would think you were a total dick. Chances are, he's a really nice guy.

Bring a scale. Its not rude to be wary of strangers and you'll only need it the first time, mostly its a prop.
Always trust, but verify.

I fail to see how its rude or a dick move to bring a scale to this.
When I ask for the weight or have it weighed myself, thats just fucking business, and strictly that. Any dealer who isn't ok with me checking the weight is not a dealer I want around.

hmmmm, something like that would raise some suspicion. All of my dealers know and understand that when I ask them for the weight (or weigh it myself) that its not that I don't trust them... its just business.
