hey.. so i'm shopping off amazon for some awesome book and it the server tells me that a the security certificat for amazon has expired.. i've been waiting for about three days.. does anyone know how long it can be until a new certificate is installed?

Heh... whoops! That's a pretty basic mistake guys. It's like when Microsoft let the Hotmail domain expire. They should hire me, I'd stay on top of that shit. 
Installing a new certificate should be instant once they get around to it, although I'm sure they have a complicated setup so it may not be so straightforward. But even if their certificate has expired, as long as it's a genuine amazon.com certificate your transaction will still be secure. You'll just have to dismiss the warning, the encryption will still function like normal.
