root rot

so my cactus is getting root root pretty much where the base of the cactus is filmsy and really juicey is there anything i can do to save it
should i try to graft the not rotten part to a p torch? also im gona to give it to someone that can grow things better then me

stop watering completely,
possibly lay it on its side and take the pot off and let everything dry out real good.
just some thoughts, i'm by far not a professional.

Get us a picture of it. Take it out of the soil, donīt water it, if you cut, do so away from the rot.

yaeh i have taken it out of the soil and water the other one i have is just fine, i think it was moving it to a bigger pot, i only did it cause the thing was growing, any who its like deflated, im kinda feeling like its really done for and i should just eat it, its like a soggy defated button.
