Well, no pins seem interested in the bruised areas as of yet so no more misting the cakes just the FC wall for me.
Oh, is there a deference between the Pensacola and PES Hawaiians strain of cubes? Potency, body buzz feeling, visual difference aka one give more than the other, just general and specific things between the two. I'd really like to know.

So there is no psychedelic differences property wise other than general appearance of the fruit, grow speed, size, stuff like that.

The isn't really that much of a difference in appearance, grow speed, and size. Certain strains like PE are obviously different, but 95% of cubes can't be identified unless a pro looks at them under a microscope. Some people say PE is more mental than body also. It all depends on the genes bro, especially potency.
You can have the same strain and completely different looking mushrooms. Size is usally determined by the size/depth of the substrate. Grow speed varies also. That is why some cakes fruit faster / better than others.

I've seen some big PE. Some that put John Holmes to shame. It all depends on the substrate depth and growing condition.

I through a contam (green mold) cake outside that was 100% done in a decomposing wood pile and is actually growing into the soil and getting some nice pins. Is it safe to eat the finished fruits? Would it be fine to let them finish their cycle and deposit spores, die and maybe more will grow and have a mini field of them? If the chances are slim then I'd rather pick them if its safe to eat.

Got hollow mushies. 60 grams wet but all are completely hollow!?! They don't bruise near as much as my last batch that where 95% thick.

Thanks, here is 3 more cakes I picked today. Picked over 120gs wet. I've only picked 4 of my 30 jars too!!
So hard for me to dry them all at once, I have no money to invest and DampRid takes too long.

Well, I'm using a wooden drawer, huge floor fan on top of this drawer and a heat lamp on the fan to keep it warm but not hot hope that dries them pretty fast.

Unless you are in a very humid climate just a fan blowing on low across the shrooms will get them almost cracker dry. Then i just get some tidy cat crystals... actually i get some generic brand that i cant remember whats called, but they get the rest of the job done just fine.
huge bag is only a couple of bucks and i believe you can reuse silica by heating it to dry it, im not sure because i havnt had to reuse any yet.

Man, these cakes are exploding
I had another question though.
Can I cut up fresh mushies and place them in drying chambers to speed up the drying? will this drop potency or anything else I should be aware of?
Ive worked my way up to 2g and have some pretty stellar trips no 3d visuals but my last trip lasted over 8 hrs. Id rate them about lvl 3. Is the trip lvl temperamental such as if I eat 2.25 grams it will jump me to level 4. I like where the trips go as far as visuals and body/mind buzz but would like some more but don't want to hit it were it goes way over my head ya know. I want to work up to 3.5 grams but I'm very worried about where it might go. I've started at 1.5 then the last 2 trips at 2g. Only thing I don't like is the very heavy feeling.

I don't like telling you what your dose should be...You could eat 2 grams, and your setting could send you into a level 4-5 trip. Hard to say man, but for ME if 2 grams did that I would say 3 grams would up you to your next place.
Cutting them up would speed it up some, but I would not do it. It would probably affect potency in the long run.
If you want to cut them up to speed it up for a trip then just simply eat them fresh. usually the fresh weight lets say...50 grams will be VERY close to 5 grams. If you want to dry them up for storage don't cut them, but I guess if it is just for a trip then you could cut them, dry them, and eat them shorty thereafter.
