 shrooms from pine cones

During a shroom hunting trip I collected a few subs fruiting off pinus radiata cones in the Blue Mountains. Ive taken a few of the cones home and put them in a good spot in the garden hoping to get sum growing at home. Ive got about 10 little pins coming up, but they go blue from being damaged and they dont form full shrooms. Has any1 had any sucsess in doing this???

I can't speak for anyone else but, "active" mushrooms are illegal where I live...

A legitimate question not getting any legitimate answers..
assuming you didn't just set them on the ground and walk away from them, and that you used some sort of substrate:
what are the conditions outside around the area you are trying to fruit in?

Ive got a woodchip bed that fruits P.australiana so ive got good conditions. Ive got a small bed of pine needles and crushed cones on which my mycelium engulfed pine cones sit on, with sum sphagnum moss on top of the cones. But cant get the pins to develop. This is more of an experimental thing I know people who have fruiting sub beds in my area, but no one who has fruiting pine cones..

did it rain heavily after the pins developed?

no not really ive just kept spraying with mist to keep the whole area nice and humid.
