Mexicans can be considered a race. They're mix blood of aztec, mayans, etc. and the blood of the spanish that raped and pillaged them. :P

No way. All mexicans are not mestizo, not by a long shot. Mexico is a country, and mexican is a nationality - not a race. Mexicans are of diverse races just like all countries in the western hemisphere. There are white mexicans, brown mexicans and black mexicans.
Mexican is not a race, just like canadian and american is not.
