need some help with a video appliance
    #8591272 - 07/03/08 11:37 AM (3 months, 6 days ago)

hey folks...

as some of you know i'm working on my thesis right now... i'm doing the translation and subtitles for a short film... the thing is, i have to turn in a cd or dvd with the film including subtitles...
so far i have used subtitle workshop and have the subtitles in .srt format... the film is in .avi... does anyone know how i can permanently merge the movie with the subtitles, and burn them on a cd or dvd that will play in a dvd-player?

any help is GREATLY appreciated...

thanks dude!

i don't quite get it though... am i supposed to select the entire folder and then just click on "convert to dvd"? i was browsing through the help file and didn't see anything about subtitles... do the subs have to be in any specific file format (like srt or ssa?)

cheers

Open the program and press on folder that contains your avi file and srt file in it and then press convert
