 Chicago Peace Festival a.k.a Pot Fest

Chicago currently had its annual Peace festival which I attended all weekend. It was a whole lot of fun with live music, good food, and a great open park. I came Friday afternoon and set-up my tent. I instantly started smoking weed and to my amazement the cops turned the other way. All day mad weed was smoked and peace was passed around, I live down the street but slept in my tent that night because I was to baked to clean up. Saturday, it rained but not for long and it ended up being sunny, this day also brought me the greatest surprise of my life. For one, I saw two bike cops hitting bongs and smoking blunts while people took pictures, secondly I was told to put it away while I was smoking a bong and drinking a beer, I thought the staff member meant the bong so I asked him,"You want me to put the bong away", to my surprise the staff member said, " No man, you can't drink out here, but the bongs fine can I get a hit. Sadly, Sunday came around which meant the last day, it rained all day but because I had my tent and so did almost everyone else, the crowd actually grew and the band got louder. 6 of my friends, 1 polish kid( spoke no English), and me piled into my small 2 person tent and we started thinking, " Well, what do we do now." So we got a qp of kush and started rolling clear blunts and I ran home to get 2 bongs. By the time Sunday ended there was still a music circle going on, it lasted till midnight even though the fest was over at 9.
I wrote my account to entice all my fellow shroomerites to come to our next Peace Festival in September. Marijuana is allowed and can be smoked in the open with no problems, don't worry if you can't bring bud, their is plenty of great bud available for sale. LSD and Shrooms are tolerated but don't go waving it around and being a pest when trying to buy some. Alcohol is not allowed but many people drink anyway. The music is good but not great, it's the whole atmosphere and peacefulness of the festival that made it one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Tell all your friends to come because this September, we are hoping to make it the Woodstock of the 21 century.
P.S If anyone knows how to get the smoke smell out of a tent let me know because my tent reeks of 100 blunts 30 bongs and 40 bowls so really, let me know.
Anyone that might be able to attend post letting me know.
