T. bridgesii?

Hey, i went to my local version of walmart and found these 3 un-labeled cacti for a few bucks each. I instantly thought T. bridgesii but i am unsure because i have never actually seen a T. bridgesii in real-life. They are in pretty bad shape, 2 of them have massive (and i mean really massive) mealy bug infestations, they are on the body, in the roots, soil, everywhere. Oh btw if anyone has any good cures for that, it would be greatly appreciated
The cacti have a weird black ring around the base of the spines and black tips on the long spines (the small spines are totally black) which make me wonder if they really are Tricho's - bridgesii's to be precise. The mature spines are quite thick (much thicker than my long spine pedro) and the aeroles a very similar to tricho aeroles.

Any help would be awesome, cheers!!

Oh well. I was gutted but then i started to research the cacti, its a pretty damn cool cacti. Apparently its better for grafting peyote than pereskiopsis's and trichocereus's. And it has edible fruit that resemble bilberrys, which are like blueberrys. It is used in mexico as a food crop.
So im quite happy to keep these guys on. At least it legitimizes my cacti collection now
Cheers guys!!!

really?
i mean, nothing beats pereskiopsis speed, but i find myrtle much better than trich's. people here often say they need high heat to do well, maybe tis a climate thing? i use myrtle a lot for lophs and they grow pretty fast on them.
they also seem better suited to take harder lasting rains than trichs (which surprised me). i have an outdoor bed i have myrtle, T.pachanoi and T.peruvianus in. during the last rains and typhoon (about 3 weeks of solid rain) half the pedros rotted (some of the nice cuttings you gave me royer, i was crushed!) one peruvianus started to rot from a snail bit area, but all the myrtles are pluggin galogn nicely with not even a brown spot
