Pictures will be up as soon as I find the cord to my camera.
Overall senses: Smell - these shrooms smell mildly like some sort of acid, kind of salty and acidic.
Habitat: Underneath a baby japenese maple tree, grown on a lightly colored wood type of wood chips in my friends garden. Also similiar specimens found in between grasses grown on small woodchips that strayed from the beds.
Cap: Averaging 2 to three inches in the fully grown specimen, colors carying from dark brown to light caramel. Flatly shaped to starting to turn wavy in this specimen, but the smaller ones are kind of goomba shaped(super mario referance)...
Stem: Hollow and an averaging height of about 2-3 inches in specimen.
Veil: not prevalent in selected sample, but in smaller samples is white.
Spore print: Purpleish brown.
Gills: Brown varying to purpleish brown, but caramel brown towards the outer ends of the cap.
Any posibilites from these text descriptions? Once again I will post pictures as soon as I can find my cameras cord.

If any of those it is the agaricus bisporus, do to its color. Although those caps shape and color aren't quite accurate. Also I tried bruising it, and there wasn't any reaction. the inside of the stalk/stem was more purple and far from yellow. I guess once I get some pictures up you'll see.. where is that cord..

What is the average thickness of the stem? Are the stems fragile or somewhat meaty?

maybe two-five milimeters, fragile pretty easy to squish inward.
