How often are these boards "cleaned up"? (Deletion of old and/or misinformation)

We don't mass-expire old posts, so anything posted today will remain on the boards indefinitely. However, depending on the policies of a forum, its moderators may lock, delete or edit inaccurate posts on an ongoing basis. I wasn't too worried about "filtering" my own information. I've had to do that for years in several other fields. I was thinking about doing some work to help some of the less experienced folk around here- but then I keep thinking, "what a waste of time, they'll never read it anyway". Good to know how it's handled though. Thanks for the info.
