 Strange Amanita

I was taking a walk recently and found this amanita, and picked it hoping its psychoactive but I need some help IDing it, sorry for the horrible pictures but its the best I can get. Also it looks like something took a little bite so theres either a dead critter or a high one around. Underside of cap w/stem

That might be some kind of Amanita but better pictures are needed. Especially a clear picture of the base of the stem. That includes digging into the soil a bit to be sure you have it all. Some Amanitas have stem bases that go down into the soil like a taproot. It could be several inches down.

Looks a lot like a very dried/near rotting amanita muscaria.
