so i have 3 cakes in a shotgun fc and i notice 2 of them after dunking and rolling look like the mycelium is growing onto the verm layer i rolled it in.
well it looks kinda fuzzy.
is this normal? it doesnt look like the texture of the cake prior to dunk and roll.

Yes this is normal it is called rhizomorphic mycelium and is a great sign of success, good job.

should i continue to mist onto it? or leave it alone till i see pins?

You can always mist the sides of the FC but not the cakes cause that can cause contamination, just keep FAE and RH up and keep inducing pinning, your doing fine.

well put like 10 to 15% H2O2 in with the H2O if you want to spray the cakes or actually just put it in in general because many shroomerites( including me) find it to boost colonization.
