Check out this post. I know PDU's posting from some weird internet cafe in south America, but none of his other pictures came up so small... figured it may be related to the recent changes as it looks like all of his images are being downsized to "avatar size".

Hmm this could be a little tough to troubleshoot since he probably can't do much to help in the current situation. But I actually think his source images arrived at the server that small. The thumbnail generation code didn't change, and it happens early on before any of the new stuff kicks in. And when a large image is thumbnailed by the upload script it will have a width or height of 180px. But all his thumbnails are less than 180px in their greatest dimension, which is consistent with the original uploads just being tiny. And although they are close to avatar size, not all of them have a dimension of exactly 80px which I'd expect to see if the avatar generation code went all renegade on us. I'm really not sure how that could happen though, I wonder if it could be some sort of internet accelerating proxy which resizes the images en route... that might make sense if it's being paired with a really low res display, but I dunno. We could give him supporter status and ask him to try uploading with SSL enabled, that should rule out any interference between us. Weird problem.

Oh well, thanks for takin' a look at it. I suppose he'll figure it out on his own time when he next logs in... those pictures look pretty cool though, I hope he re-up's 'em!

Whats going to happen with all of the peoples pictures who are banned for good? Would deleting thread that go no where be another option? Its a PITA when Im searching something and read all the way to the bottm just to find out it was never again updated. Why do you allow mp3 uploads? Thats what itunes is for

I think with the new setup storage won't be an issue, so my advice is don't worry about it.
