Awesome, I was their yesterday in the Pit! I think you might know my buddy Mike. Their opening band, Government Mule, was excellent. Vocals had quite a voice. I saw Ron Jeremy and Bill Walton. Overall, great night.

yeah, if you mean mike from the boards. cause i met some dude named mike there at the show. and i met some cool chick to from san diego.
Man, to tell you the truth i didnt really digg the mule. i was triping so hard and the mule wouldnt ever end. then when they did and i was waiting for the rat dog set, i went into this really weird trip on the telescreens. i felt like it was telling me to leave and i fuckin left like a dumb ass. i ended up geting lost in the streets and runing into some pigs. they didnt say shit to me they gave me a look like you wanna go to jail walk close to me and i just turned around lol.
man the best part of the mule show is when bob came out and played watchtower with them.
im really upset that i didnt even get to see the rat dog show but im glad i made it home in one peice. im praying that the show will come out on internet archive. i been looking but i dont see it

hahaha funny story man. You did miss out though because Ratdog rocked it out like usual. The pianist, saxophone, and drummer all did solos. Its the Greek theater so they ended the show around 11.

I was pretty amazed at how long the Mule played as well - but it wasn't a bad thing, 'cause they were absolutely rockin'! Oh man, when they came out and for their second or third song ripped a fine "That's what Love Will Make You Do"... I was in heaven from the get go.
Too bad I didn't catch that one on film but there weren't too many people down in the pit at that point, and I'd already had one of the staffers come give me some hassle about my camera. 
Anyway, I can't fuckin' believe you left before Ratdog took the stage, but I suppose you gotta dew what you gotta dew. 
Speakin' of dew, here's a little compilation I put together of some moments during the Morning Dew jam which was the last full set song (followed by a Goin' down the Road Feelin' Bad encore - which I didn't tape). It's a little jerky on the imagery, and there's a few cuts... but hey, I was dancin' like the rest of 'em and was a few sheets flailin' in the wind! I'm surprised I got any of it at all!

Kind of weird that YouTube really dumbed down the quality on this one, and isn't seeming to offer a "high quality" option on the file's main page as they did for my other (shorter) JGB uploads... but I suppose that may have something to do with the original upload being over 100mb. 
Ah well, better than nothing - once I get my DVD burner working, I'll be happy to vine some high-res footage for all the Dead fans out there!

I guess it just took 'em an hour or so to encode the higher quality version.
I'd suggest visiting the main page for the video to watch it in better quality... but make sure to click the "Watch in high quality" link, which resides right under the view counter.

Cool, I didn't even realize this was their first Dew... I might've made more of an effort to keep the camera on the whole time if I had!

Hey, that's awesome! I'm honored. 
Got quite a bit more footage, hopefully I'll be able to piece it together while its still fresh.
I hope the band doesn't mind, I always give 'em credit in the public videos!
