seems dubstep has really blown up. i remember listening to mixes when it first emerged and all the dnb heads were talking shit on it.
burials self titled is a real gem.. boxcutter, stenchman, milanese, various production, caspa.. all doing something unique and great in my opinion.

Loved it for a long time, but more into the dark soundscape type now rather than the party tunes with way too much lfo action. Starting to sound a bit like clownstep these days.

Sure it is, twisted individual embraced the name with open arms as did some others. Used to be called jumpup, but nowadays it's referred to as jumpstep or jumpstyle.
