Im on the wall with using rtv ports.
Its like if I can move mycelium & agar around in my glovebox no prob why not just open the jar lid (in the glovebox) when I want to inoculate from a needle... But either would work, RTV port would give you the option to do inoculations outside the glovebox given that you treat the environment you'll be in for the procedure.
I could picture myself spawning bulk subs inside a giant glovebox.

i hate that birdseed from walmart.
First it's expensive, and second... I think it was a cause of a whole case of lipstick mold i had forever.
  
if you have a petsmart get Bird Basics - 40# = $11.00
anyway, nice lookin so far. Hope the MS inoculation works.

Wipe your gloves, jars, tools, with alcohol when working with them in the glove box.
