 Growing B+ using PF-Tek

Hey guys. Im sort of new to the forums here. I have just been reading and learning 
Well Im about to start growing my very own shrooms soon, hopefully.
Yesterday I went out and bought the following ....
vermiculite:
brown rice:
1/2 pint jars:
After that I went to walmart and got a coffee grinder:
and made me some brown rice flour:
Now im waiting for my spore syringes to come in the mail in the next few days ...
Cant wait guys !
I will be getting the other few materials in the next few days.

Remember to pack your jars as loosely as possible, yet make sure there is no empty pockets.
Cover the lids tightly with tin-foil before boiling. Let them cool off over night (with the lid still on the pot).
After you inoculate, do not put the foil back on. The jars need to breath and the verm will block out contams.
You should use a fine verm for the top barrier. (If you have a bag of big verm, try getting some out of the bottom of the bag, it will be much finer).
After you inoculate, keep them at room temp.
Do not shake, turn sideways, slam, or flip the jars. You want the verm barrier to stay perfectly still and you don't want to compact the substrate.
Mycelium will rip through loose substrate like no other.
Oh, and watch the "Let's grow mushroom" videos on youtube before doing anything. It will help you out significantly.

You don't need a PC until you start making grain / WBS jars. Period.

Thanks for those tips holesnype, i'll keep everything in mind, and I already watched those videos, twice 
As for the pressure cooker, i'm going to walmart and getting one tomorrow.

looks like your on your way man heres some pics of my latest grow B+ so youll know what to expect check them out. Im not sure why but this first flust seems a lil puney the casing is doing great though.

I know that I could steam boil it, but I would rather just go get a PC tomorrow and use it.

I just thought of something, I ordered the shrooms threw regular delivery through usps, will the ship right to my apartment door or will they put them in the mailbox that apartments have, and if they do that, could the heat fuck them up? It's like 95 degrees here in texas

Alright guys, I'm about to go up to Wally World and get the PC and everything else I need at this moment. I know I need to get some tape to cover the holes, everyone says black electrical tape will work. Here is a list of things i'm getting:
-Electrical Tape
-Pressure Cooker
-Measuring cups
-Rubbing Alchol ? To sanitize when I start
-Hand Sanitizer ? To keep my hands clean while doing this
Can anyone recommend me getting anything else that you think I might need at this point ? I'm leaving in 30 minutes or so, so quick responses are awesome ! haha
I'll be getting everything for the Fruiting Chamber in a week or so.
Thought I would share it this with you guys... Its the "track & confrim" from usps. ... . F*#kkkk !!!! I just went to check the status and it is saying my mail was "Undeliverable as Addressed" wtf ???!!!
Well this sucks, I'm reordering some from sporeworks right now and this time I'm using UPS, i'm going to do the one or two day delivery so they will get here soon!
Well i'm about to go get everything...

I'm in Texas too.It is possible for the spores to die from to much heat. If I remember right 130f or a little higher. Hope the mail box is not in direct sun but over all you should be OK. Just get the spores out asap.

Scrap the electrical tape. If you are going to wallyworld, stop by the first aid section and get micropore tape instead.

Id second the micropore tape suggestion. Its cheap and you might as well follow the tek to the best of your ability. I couldnt find 3M micropore tape so I ended up having to ask the pharmacist for it so she got me the generic equivelent (paper tape). Also what grade is your vermiculite? Medium at least? Medium grade is hard to find in my neck of the woods so I ended up having to buy fine vermiculite once and nothing would grow in it.

Ya, I'm going to get the micropore tape, and I'm not for sure what grade it is.... I looked all over the bag to see what it is. I think it is medium grade. Here is a picture:

I did just reorder some B+ from lilshopofspores, sporeworks declined my card b/c my billing address didn't match? idk why the hell it said that... But oh well, hopfully UPS can read a uc*^%g address and delivery it...
