FIRST:
i found this shroom in the woodchips near a forest. the gills are blue/grey and you can tell the size from the size of my hand... i havnt checked the spores but i will tomarow if i dont get a reply.. it is brown and has a large white stem. it dosnt smell much (like a normal shroom) and is slimey. the gils are very close together. heres the pics:

here is the second type... it has brown gills that are close together, i have not smelled it, and looks like it has a nipple. they where found on a NEW golf course after the rain... also has a white stem pretty skinny.

*Edited out my first guess to avoid confusion.

The second could be a pan subb, you'll need a spore print to tell.

I'm not sure about the first species, but the second appears to be either Panaeolus subbalteatus, or panaeolina foenesecci. P subbs are the magic ones that contain psilocybin, whereas P foes look just like them, but contain none, and as far as I'm aware nothing bad happens when you eat them.

So take them hope, and spore print them. If the spore print is jet black, they are magic! =D if they are a brown/purple, they are not :[.

That first one is Stropharia rugosoannulata. To verify that we need to see the underside of the ring in detail. It's actually an edible species, one of the few in Stropharia.

Happy mushrooming!

How many do you have? You need quite a few subbs to trip.

For the Stropharia rugosoannulata (top pic), the smaller ones around them were the same thing, just not matured yet. So we still left more there. But I guess we still need to get them identified anyways.

Edit:

Check out the sticky called "Sample ID request - READ BEFORE POSTING AN ID REQUEST!" and look at the third picture down. They look very similar and they are found in the NE region.
