the walls of my greenhouse of course.

anyway, i went out to my greenhouse with my cam for some pics, thought i would document some of my delosperma for you all to see, as theres not much detail to this plant

here you are:

bosseranum on the left, cooperi on the right.

Cooperi

and a closeup of the leaf

mmm smooth

Bosseranum - This is extensive coverage due to it being in flowering and seeding right now.

unripe pods with seeds, and flower on the left

some pods opened with seeds, some wet and some dry, lots of closeups

notice the strange shape of the seeds?

and a leaf for reference, mmmm bumpy and rough

dig it?

i have them in some random potting mix that i mixed with wisconsin topsoils and perlite etc, so there would be more bulk for my buck.
my compost didnt finish til a while after these were planted. i was thinking of transplanting these but last time i did that they died, i have my eye on this nice clay pot, and some colorful gravel in our driveway.

they are outside in my chitty greenhouse, 50-70deg during the days, 30-50deg at night. its in the shade for most of the day, but the sun comes out around 3 or 4 and only lasts an hour or less.

i have been letting them dry out fairly well before giving them more water, they dont seem to wilt or anything

i fed them a little mix of molasses, earth juice: grow, and earth juice: bloom, but i only fed them once and it was extremely watered down, dont remember how much of what i usually use whatevers left, cart the remains down to the greenhouse after feeding my other ethnos and stuff. so the strength depends on the health of my other plants usually...
never had a problem with overfeeding organics for some reason, plants will eat that shit up regardless.

its starting to get cold, the cooperi just turned red/purple/brown on some of the stems, i think i read in trouts notes that this is when the 5-meo and n,n- are produced, but i may be way off here.
dont feel like browsing his work for the answers right now, and these are for ornamental/research purposes only.

glad u guys like the pics, any plants in particular you guys want to see documented, or particular parts or views of plants that arent often shown? i have a nice ethno thread in my journal for those who havent seen it already, lots of different shots of salvia, psychotrias, etc
