I can only upload 55kb right now whats up with that. Ive posted tons of pics on here and i can even post a simple ID in the hunting forum.

You have reached your weekly upload limit, which is 14 MB. You can increase it to 70 MB by signing up for a supporter account. However, you should note that there is also a total upload limit of 50 MB for regular users and 75 MB for supporters. If you reach that limit you will have to delete old pictures to free up space.

There should be something in the pictures that Tell how much space we have used out of our total amounts. Also in each picture folder, something that says how big that folder is.

To recap for those just encountering this new problem, the upload script is supposed to have two limits: the weekly upload limit and the total, all-time limit. Ie. for regular users the weekly limit is 14MB and the all-time limit is 50MB. However, when I was working on legallyhomeless's request to display the total space remaining, I realized that the upload script doesn't actually enforce the all-time limit and apparently never has. So I fixed it, but you were already ~5MB over the limit (although the negative numbers are a bug, it should just say 0). I apologize to anyone who was negatively affected by the change, but I just made it function the way it was always supposed to. Middleman and other moderators, if necessary please try to delete images and free up space first but if you need the limit increased just let me know.

so wait Why cant we just have no limit like it used to pretty much what your saying is for all these years you wanted to have a limit but didnt! No offense but why is it that you need this limit. Does it cost you that much to keep things like they were? now that you enacted the or rather revived it im at Total: 64,691 KB / 51,200 KB It kinda makes me want to leave my shit at that. i really dont know what to say im not a sophist im just a person that enjoyed the freedom you once premited then took away. ugh i guess in the long run im so wrong cause its you didnt want that freedom ARG im just RANTing on damn this sucks!!! It reminds me of when i was banned then few days later the whole site crashed cause your server burned out i did cast a magic spell cause that really unjustified baning cause a cunt thats not even a memeber any more and only was for a short bit and misunderstood what i said and then understood and disagreed so he used it a as a way to attack me and you backed him in it. More or less everyone couldnt use the site for that period until it was on the back up in which i regained my ability and when the main one was back my ban was over its strange how freak acidents and curses sync up.

That's really the issue right there. It would cost us a lot to offer unlimited space, the actual hard drives being the least expensive part. If you're interested, some specific challenges at the moment include: we have no more rack space, we're already going over our bandwidth quota on a frequent basis, we have nobody onsite to upgrade the hardware, we would need a backup strategy for the increased data, and we're already losing money after expenses. I'm sorry, we're providing the best free service we can. If you want a 50% increase in storage sign up as a supporter.

hmm i actually know someone that runs servers hmm. that said he would give me me one 286GB of harddisk space thats run remotely would you want to discuss this with him hes more a computer person than i am, i used to be but kinda quit computers. in all honesty i wanna make more space not just for myself more so for everyone one, i could PM you his email so you two can have nerdy computer talk.
also i was thinking what about all the perma banned people and deleting their pictures. i personally have that one thats perma banned that has pictures on it which takes up unneeded space. its just an idea. Im all about supporting the site but feel like i could add more then just what a supporter account will yeild. u know aside from my rants lol
btw he was giving it to me as a server to run counter strike and games like that but i see theres way more potential for other things, on account of i dont feel like moderating a CS server or moding a server in general. He runs other servers too for CS i forget how many he has and sells them but i still have mine which isnt really being used. he pretty much said you guys would have to talk it out cause link ups and stuff. you would get your acess to do what ever and can put what ever passwords you want and stuff. its just a thought hit me back man

Mine says "Total: 204,534 KB / 76,800 KB". Does that mean that I have to delete 127,734kb in order to upload a new pic?

yeah this is a pretty big issue for me as well. i had to delete over 40mb of pics to be able to upload anything. it is really unfortunate. almost everything i post is pictorial teks and experimental grows. i'd gladly pay even more to have my own limit raised.
