Do NOT post reality-based videos, just horror movie scenes. Actual (real) atrosciousness = ban.
Like the thread title says. Just recommending a horror movie won't do. Go the extra mile and post a video showing a scene of the movies you recommend!
Scary and quite a headfuck: HELLRAISER I and II. Basically disturbing demonic gore with plot. Do not watch III, IV etc.
For the fans of gory movies, by all means check out BRAINDEAD aka DEAD-ALIVE, the goriest movie ever made!

Saw The Mist recently and thought it was awesome, its a Stephan King movie.
The ending was supremely wicked!

I thought the premise of "The Mist" was neat, and the bugs were pretty cool, but I thought the acting in the movies sucked for a S.K. movie....
I got "The Mist" and "CloverField" at the same time, not knowing that they were similar, and I thought "CloverField" was a better movie....

I've only watched it once and thought the acting was ok, I'll have to check out cloverfield.

CloverField is like a mix of Godzilla + War of the Worlds, with a personal (smoother) camera perspective of Blair Witch....
Parts of the movie would be a REALLY cool ride, at like a Universal Studios theme park or some such....!

I always said it was more like Gozilla + 9/11 + Blair Witch Project, but I guess War of the Worlds can fit in there too.
I will always say that the EVIL DEAD is the best horror film of all time! (and it's great to watch while tripping, especially this scene:
But the OLD Dawn of the Dead is probably second. The new one was fucking terrible (at least the theatrical version was)

Suspiria is a pretty sweet movie. I just watched the third movie of that series, Mother of Tears. It was pretty god awful.
There are lots of movies that I could talk about here. Instead I will just pimp out the video that I made last year that has a ton of different movie clips. Wait a while and there are a bunch of gory ones.

Candyman is another Clive Barker film (Hellraiser) and it fucking rules. Very gory and creepy with an awesome set and characters. I'm sure you all know South Park did a spoof on this with Biggie Smalls.
