I have 2 local stories where idiots threatened LE, and are now in serious legal trouble.
The first case is the now famous BRB youtube video from Miami, one idiot was a convicted felon and showed off an AK-47 while threatening MDSO gang unit, and the Feds built a case against the two, both of the idiots took long term prison sanctions plea deals because of wanting to be badasses on the interwebs

The second and more recent case is the idiot that threatened to shoot up a police department.

When I was a student sysadmin in college, somebody posted a death threat to the president from one of the computers in a computer lab on some government website guestbook. (This was in the very early days of the web.) About two weeks later the secret service showed up with a search warrant. They dusted the keyboard for fingerprints and took all of the security camera tapes from the buildings on that part of campus. Beyond that, I don't know if anything ever happened.
I was rather amused that they thought they could get usable prints from a keyboard in a public computer lab after two weeks of use... they were very serious and had no sense of humor.

I know a hood in cocoa, Fl that some punkasses went and tagged up the side of some buildings with specific badge numbers, and some threats, ie: all cocoa cops are gonna die, so the 5-0 went door to door and arrested half the entire neighborhood. All kinds of shit went down- people should just STFU, and if they are gonna do something do it in silent fury.
