These mush have brown gills, waiting on spore print. Rings around the caps, almost all of them, some are too young for the ring or something, might not even be the same kind.. anyway, its not at all cool outside, hasnt rained in 2 days and when it did rain it wasnt alot, just a night storm... found them growing on soil, compost manure, even wood... all in the same area within 7-8 square feet of eachother, in the shade, its a little ..looks like an old coyote den, shady area by a creek in the middle of a large cow field.. same field i found alot of other mushrooms growing out of dung, but those were found in the field, growing exactly out of the top of dung at 5-6 pm in the evening, in the hot kentucky southern nights.. southern kentucky, that is..
again, still waiting for a spore print, gills are brown top of caps are dark ringed around the edge of the cap with a dark button in the middle of most of them, not all though... stems arent that wavy, but somewhat... brown staining in the stems where "bruised." some caps are flat, the bigger mushrooms, the smaller ones are more umbrella style... found a shit load of them, i left some to grow more, im going back tonight to check them and see if the gills are jetblack, havent found a jetblack gilled one yet so it makes me wonder if their subbs or not... they were pciked around 1 pm... temps in the 80's... shady deciduous type woods section in the middle of a cowfield, alot of manure and compost on the ground, growing off of old logs with green moss on the tops of them... help ID please.

Good photo job--definitely not Panaeolus subbalteatus. Likely Panaeolus foenisecii.
