WARNING: do not in reality consume amounts of shrooms or LSD anywhere near these doses. Really, no kidding.
We all know about the Thumbprint, and those of us who don't absolutely must check out this epic thread.
Basically, a thumbprint would be an extreme dose of LSD beyond even the remotest reason.
Because we have to quantify things to make them more concrete, I have prepared for you two megadoses.
THE THUMBPRINT the thumbprint comprises a whopping 12.500 micrograms of LSD. In more familiar terms that would mean 250 average blotters or 100 really strong ones.
THE SHROOMPRINT the Shroomprint comprises a whopping 2.500 milligrams of Psilocybin (yes, 2.5 grams of pure 4-HO-DMT) as is contained in 1 pound of dried Cubensis mushrooms.
According to literature, these two doses are just about equally potent psychoactively.
Now, here comes the poll, think it though before you vote. The 12.5mg LSD or 2.5gr Psilocybin is to be consumed as one dose, or not at all.
If you choose one but not the other, lets hear your motivation. And ofcourse any discussion there may be

I can't imagine what that would be like, I dropped a 10 strip once and that is enough for me, no need for a thumbprint.

I've been puddled with strong acid twice before, one time it was over 25 hits...both times ended up being REALLY sketchy and out of control. It's like you're watching yourself do all this crazy gibberish and you don't have control of what's happening at all. I had to be "babysat" both times (the second time by about 10-15 people hahaha). So a thumbprint is out of the question for me, I don't need to take it that far, acid and I don't get along that well in large doses.
A shroomprint though?! Fuck yeah!

I probably would, if offered the chance to. 
Im the only person i know that has done 10 grams dry of Fl cubes. Multiple times, i honestly dont know how many. Id guess 10ish for 10+, 20-30 for 5-10ish grams, and like 200-300 for 1-5grams.
And i have no known psychotic, psychic, or physical disorders. Well some physical (back pain, headaches, ect.), but no mental loss or delusions. Im a bit odd, and anti social, but all in all a good guy who is well adjusted. I think. 
I have done one ten strip trip. I fell asleep 3 hours in, woke up 15 hrs later, and spent the next two days in a daze. VERY fun, but i was kinda ashamed of myself after. Mainly because i cant remember ANYTHING from those first 18 hrs, at all. 
A bit of a waste, to just sit on a bench outside starring at the tree line for 20 hrs, and walking around talking for the rest. 
I would, but i dont know if i would beable to remember alot of it.
I also KNOW i would not gain anything from it. I have found peace in my life.
I dont need psychs, i just like them. It would be a trip, maybe life changing, but i doubt it would be much different than now.
Im more ambitious about meditation lately. Im on a quest to find myself, in the only place there is to look.

I dosed with a pretty good sized puddle in my hand when I was younger, but theres no way it was 12500 mic's. I guess I'm lucky in that instance that I had a shitty hook up.

even though psilocybin generally is 'darker' for me, i think i could handle it better than a thumbprint of acid. i think the acid would 'blind' me somehow, all that shimmering and crystally shit going on in my brain, psilocin would just cook my brain.
i'd rather be a vegetable than a dude with shimmering eyes for the rest of my life.

i put that wrong, i dunno, acid is just 'louder' for me, shrooms are more colourful... i dont know what im trying to say, but to cut a long story short, i would rather the 'od' of shrooms than acid.

Say a bottle of pretty fucking decent acid is about 80mcg/hit.. that means theres 8mg in total in it. => 1 1/2 bottles = a thumbprint?
I always thought it was way more than that..
When its put in terms like that I reckon I could consume that amount of acid. It would be like being touched by god

I myself have taken a little over 50 hits of good blotter in a matter of 5 or so hours and that was totally insane, a very good time with lots of hallucinations. I saw words being spelled and floating out the this dudes mouth and into the air as he was talking. The letters were rainbow colored and fuzzy. It was some crazy shit.
I really just can not imagine doing a thumbprint.
Maybe, back in the day when I did this, I may have done it, but not now.
