ok guys, Mushrooms hunting advice needed

hate to be the newb lookin for info, but i need some, where and when can i find shrooms in Mississippi. I have eaten shrooms many a times but have never been on the hunt. Any and all advice would be more than helpful.

Your best bet in Mississippi is to find Panaeolus subbalteatus in horse pasture stable shaving compost piles. Those are the big piles of horse manure that all stables have.
