Also, what I gather from this, with all your talk of Iranian clubbing, and Iranian drugs, and Iranian psycho-religious leaders, and Iranian aggressive domination for society control...... is that Iran is more like America than ever.
Amazing that you have the freedom to write that and to vote for any candidate you want in an Iranomimic state. I imagine actual Iranians might think you are deranged.

What's your point? Maybe you think Iranians agree with YOUR position, that Iran is a wicked Islamofascist state, and that they need some air-strikes to set things proper? So we can go in again to be greeted as liberators to rid them of their vile nuclear weap.... no, wait.....uranium enrichment program? Then we can just leave whenever they ask?
Yes, Iranians really think someone who DOESN'T want to see Iran obliterated is deranged.

I talk to them quite often, along with other friends in the region. ..................... I don't think that you understand what intense religous indoctrination does to the psyche! While in Iran the people follow without question, but when they leave Iran for instance to the U.S., they love our freedom and opportunity, but they do not like our immoral behaviour. Many Iranians want the advantages of the West, but they have an extremely orthadox religous dictator.(a religous socialist state). When the Iranian mind isn't washed with religous rhetoric They are a friendly and intelligent group. ............................... There is a small but growing sub-culture of young adults that has started a sort of rave culture. Even with the No. Korea like security drugs are easy for them to find. The young have chosen MDMA, and they go "clubbing Iranian style". ..................... When I lived in Iran there wasn't much oppression, and it was a nice place to live. The problem was that their leaders were corrupt. Now they have a very oppressive and corrupt government, with very little freedom unless they walk the party line. And yes homosexuals are rounded up imprisoned and exacuted along with drug users as the most hated citizens. .......................................... I don't want a war with Iran, but the Islamic leadership have decided to take back Mesopotamia. The Shiite leaders in Iran want more power, and they want Iraq. The Shiite's lost Mesopotamia in the 17th C., and they feel it is their property. To them Islam will not be complete untill everyone on earth "surrenders" to Islam. The U.S. is not pushing for war, Iran is. .............................................. and yes Russia is helping Iran in this altercation, and if you do not understand this you are way behind the learning curve. Have you read those books yet. If you want to learn the truth about Iran, that would be the best place to start. (Lawrence Freedman and Aaron David Miller). Miller is from England, at least read him!

And that was the expected response. You didn't integrate with Iran, you were stationed there militarily - 30 years ago, no less. My first inclination is to suspect that any friends you have over there would be from the embassy, and not the Iranian populace. I would suspect this because you would not have had enough time to pick up their language before you left the area, and also because you said "The people of iran hate every thing YOU stand for," which makes it obvious you didn't know any of them, couldn't communicate with them, and most certainly weren't friends with them. Your not so brilliant tour-guide commentary of the Iranian people, "When the Iranian mind isn't washed with religous rhetoric They are a friendly and intelligent group," also makes it clear you will spin hollow tales when you have no knowledge to work from.
>> While in Iran the people follow without question, but when they leave Iran for instance to the U.S., they love our freedom and opportunity, but they do not like our immoral behaviour. Sorry, you're talking to someone who knows quite a few Iranian immigrants, and what you just said is pure inventive nonsense. You're spinning some superficial psychological analysis (a.k.a. "crap") of a people you don't know, to make your previous assertions sound supported. In light of the actual Persians I know, some of who seriously regret bringing their families here and missing the opportunities they left in Iran, you clearly have no understanding of this country you were stationed in, much less its people.
>> Russia is helping Iran in this altercation, and if you do not understand this you are way behind the learning curve.
That's backpedaling, not owning up to your own words. You said "Iraq is a proxy war instigated by Iran and Russia." This holds an entirely different meaning than "Russia is helping Iran," which is too highly generous an attribution. Your assertions are uneducated and fictitious, so feigning authority of knowledge is likely to only take more credibility from you.
You say: >> but they have an extremely orthadox religous dictator You also said: >> I find it ironic that you would support a religious/monarchy/dictator, over a Republic
What's ironic is that you're pretending to know much about Iran when everything you say indicates otherwise. They don't have a monarchy or dictatorship, They have an Islamic Republic. Their Supreme Leader is chosen, monitored, and can be dismissed by the Assembly of Experts, who are voted into office by the public.

Then I shaped you in plaster to give you a pose,
Now you'll forever look beautiful next to my tomatoes.
