grey squirrel and black bear. had dream driving my car up a volocano with a giant oak tree on top. lava flowing around. i get out of the car and i hear a small voice asking me if i want tea? then a black bear walks from out of no where on his hind legs holding a acorn tea cup. then i see a squirrel hand me a acorn tea cup and fill it. we sat and talked. and i was not on anything.i believe the squirrel is my spirt guild and the bear is my protector?

mostly in dreams or if they are local animals you will see them alot around you. Sometimes you may be the animal in your dreams or like me have an alaice in wonderland dream. if see them alot in your dreams most likly thats your spirit animal.

Note that any animal can be invoked to effect, but the spirit animal(or animals- some people observe an offensive power animal and other reflective or defensive/protective ones) seems to have a natural attraction and manifest through recurrent dreams, visions, and even one's physical actions.

bees and butterflies. Many wondrous incidents have taken place. One such incident that took my breath away most recently consisted of me watching closely a butterfly do its aerial dance until...it was out of sight...for it had landed right above and between my eyes.

I used to dream about alligators . It was reoccurring. I cant recall any other animals except this one time i ate a shit ton of cubes (1/2 oz?) and my head turned into a snakes head.

Perhaps something reptilian?
Maybe a snake or even that alligator; I have pretty generic animals...I wish I had something strange like a Tse Tse Fly.
I'd have ultimate on the spot-on the wall listening abilities;-)

I dunno, mines got to be a bat. ive always liked bats, i see them in the trees when i trip, occasionally in my dreams, and i found one outside my apartment two days ago (really weird considering location).
armadillos are really tight too, but i dont think its my power animal. more like my comedy animal.

snakes are very wise.might be your spirit animal?they are symble of healing arts.why in the bible the snake is the devil cause most of the "witches" "mage" had that symble.believe its from greece forget which god? So anyone with healing knowage was "evil" cause that evil snake temped eve. and the spin stuck even throught the symble was around well before christanty. wow that a rant?

so whoa... today, i was sitting in meditation facing my window...'i' then 'decide' to open my eyes for no apparent reason after 15-20 min of sitting...lo and behold, a butterfly is dancing right outside the window... when the 'coincidence' of a certain being or beings entering your life goes beyond coincidence, it's... THE POWER ANIMAL...
even tho mine is an insect...but what evaaaa!

I have no idea how to find out. but I have always connected really really well with dogs and especially wolves. at the oregon zoo in third grade i felt like there was a connection, a cord from my heart to the pack leaders and from his to the pack. I howled and he made eye contact howled back and had the rest of the pack howl. Every time i would go by i'd feel his presence and he would never break a stare deep into my eyes. Not a challenge, but an amazing feeling i cannot describe. I have many wolf like characteristics, and whenever i am around them or near where they should be i feel at home....

Once, I joined a shamanic drumming circle. We went journeying, and I became a snake swimming through water.
I've always felt close to lizards, as well. The shaman said I had a reptilian vibe.

A dream that stuck with me for a while was a evil hyena... but my spirit animal wouldnt be mean to me, would it?
I'm trying to remember dreams of animals I've had... none are coming to the surface. I'll seek him tonight.

Cute?
I always thought reptiles could only be badass.. until I started to get to know some. I've had a gecko who could definitely be described as "cute" in appearance. And my bearded dragon Viktor has a "cute" personality, but I'd say he's more gorgeous than cute in appearance.
