You've made pretty wild and general observations, which seem entirely counterintuitive, and I'd be curious what the examples you can cite are that show socialism is better than capitalism for the proletariate.

well, first of all, if you think that capitalism today is good for the little guy, you need either less drugs or more, depends on what kind i guess. the whole thing about marx's theories is that capitalism evolves to fuck people over more and more until they revolt and start communism. unfortunately, it has never gotten to that point in any so called "communist" country. the full bastardism of capitalism's ideals has never reached it's potential to make any government that has called themselves communist worth a shit.
either way, 3 words WAL-MART-NAFTA. capitalism today succeeds in the rich making ridiculous amounts of profit while either putting it's faithful employees out of work or paying them as little as they can get away with. are you in denial? sure, the little guy can make his way up in the world, if he's ruthless, moralless, and as a member of the human race worthless. probably help if he joins a frat, too.
there is no equality, but what's worse is there is barely even the illusion of equality. 2% of the population controls 90% of the wealth. does that sound like a system that is working? furthermore, do you think that's what the writers of the constitution had in mind?
i don't think socialism is the best system, exactly, as eventually the population loses its work ethic and other problems, but at least the field would be a bit more level.

yeah, but back when i was 18 i got myself kicked out of art school somehow and decided to couch surf and work alot of different jobs before realizing i'm getting old and should probably go learn more. basically i decided this system is a system of suckers, myself included. we're slaves and idiots. we outnumber the police, yet they still think they can be dicks, we have the power to support local shops and try to break the cycle, but we think we should buy our processed canned shit for a couple bucks cheaper because juniors in the fourth grade and is getting beat up for being the smallest in his class at 130 pounds.

it all seems to get lumped into the same thing all the time. people start spouting "leftist" and "commie" and i think it's retarded that people are so easily brainwashed. what i've noticed is that most people confuse communism with fascism.
but anyway, about the original topic...
WHO CARES? all politicians have some fucked up friends, it still doesn't change the fact that even if he wasn't coming to the plate with good policies and charisma, having another republican in the white house is going to be detrimental to our planet and our freedoms.
side note, i thought it was funny when bush used to spout that terrorists "hate our freedom". we should lock the DEA up in guantanamo bay.
