Write a paragraph or more concerning the drug war. What are your opinions about it? Are you hopeful that we will see an end to it soon? How can this change come about?
I am a victim of this insane war, waged by Americans against Americans for no good reason. I have spent time in jail for a marijuana arrest and am preparing to go to trial, rather than imply that I am sorry for smoking marijuana by accepting a plea agreement. Wish me luck. I am quite hopeful that with some hard work, we conscientious Americans will overcome this moral hurdle. I look at it as an issue of personal freedom, spiritual freedom. There are many ways to argue the case that the government has no right to restrict what we consume, and I am planning to put up a fight against this charge. With your help we will sway public opinion in the U.S. and be rewarded with freedom from abuse such as this indictment. This seemingly insoluble muddle is really just an oversight of government responsibility and our moral obligations to one another. When we teach that currently illegal drugs have had a profound and positive impact on our lives, we can undo this dastardly mistake. You can help by joining the CMEC and brainstorming with me.

i have two drug convictions. (over 10 years ago)
sadly it will never end.
Without the war on drugs, especially weed, how would law enforcement bureaucracy be able to continue to proliferate?
Where would they get the money for cool new toys if not through seizures?
How would the courts and legal system cope with a significant decrease in caseloads?
What about their PENSIONS?
When is the last time anyone heard of layoffs within the judicial system?
