I'm not so sure.. the presidential race has essentially become a glorified WWE match, and people love it when their two favorite rivals finally pair up to tag-team some other hopelessly doomed opponent.

I hope he doesn't but if he does it'll be beneficial. If Clinton is on the ticket then all those "alienated" supporters will sign on to the Obama presidency and he'll receive a massive surge of voters as the Democratic Party unites and crushes McCain. That said I hope he chooses someone different, someone who complements the Obama policy rather then counteract it like Hillary.

She's fucking retarded is what's up with that. To the best of my knowledge she still owes lots of money, why doesn'[t she quit and pay up.

I'm actually kind of enthusiastic about Obama. I've never been remotely positive on politicians before. Obama might actually shake this country up a little bit.

May we finally end this fucking charade.
Quote:
Cheered by a roaring crowd, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois laid claim to the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday night, taking a historic step toward his once-improbable goal of becoming the nation's first black president. Hillary Rodham Clinton maneuvered for the vice presidential spot on his fall ticket without conceding her own defeat. ADVERTISEMENT
"America, this is our moment," the 46-year-old senator and one-time community organizer said in his first appearance as the Democratic nominee-in-waiting. "This is our time. Our time to turn the page on the policies of the past."
Clinton praised Obama warmly in an appearance before supporters in New York, although she neither acknowledged his victory in their grueling marathon nor offered a concession of any sort.
Instead, she said she was committed to a unified party, and said she would spend the next few days determining "how to move forward with the best interests of our country and our party guiding my way."
AP/Yahoo
She has been dragging the party down for the last month and a half, and I hope and pray that Obama selects someone else for his Vice President. (I like the rumor I heard about Chuck Hagel) She wants to use what little leverage she has left to finagle her way into a VP spot, and I sincerely hope that Obama resists her attempts to force herself on the Democratic party. As much as I wonder whether it will happen or not, I would love to see someone (ANYONE) break the routine of politics as usual.

It would be cool if an anti-white marxist were president. Unfortunately Obama is neither. He's just another democrat, indistinguishable from Hillary Clinton.

This is true. I guess the difference between Obama and Clinton is more like the difference between two types of pasta noodles. Like fussilli which goes down real smooth vs. angel hair which is the shittiest noodle, IMO.
Obama talks purty and has a purty mouth whereas Clinton has an anus mouth.

When you forget about the policies for awhile, Obama definitely strikes me as being the better man for President. He's cleverly intelligent, full of life-experience and perspective that escapes a lot of individuals (especially a sheltered individual like McCain), and almost seems to have a Zen-type awareness within himself. A world leader like the United States definitely needs someone like that at the helm, someone with a global mind, so to speak.
