Wow, way too much MMA talk around here. For some real sports discussion...
The Chicago Cubs are the hottest team in baseball by far. They have the top ranked offense in the league supporting the second-best pitching staff and have the best record in baseball. Either league. They won a club record 18 games in May after matching the old record of 17 in April.
The Cubs about a minute ago entered June with the best record in baseball. The last time they did that was in 1908. That was 100 years ago, and was the year the Cubs last won the World Series.

Can't ask for any better than that.
Consecutive sweeps of the Dodger and the Rockies, now onto the woefully terrible Padres and then the Dodgers again.

I have to say they are playing a lot better than my Brewers. Not to say that's particularly difficult lately...
I bet the Cubs find a way to screw themselves though. Heh.

Not this year children, not this year. This is the first time since I fell in love with Chicago sports (1985) that I can say that the Cubs just have that look to them and I feel confident in their chances of winning a title.
It's gonna happen....

I'm up in Milwaukee at the moment, but I grew up in Schaumburg and my whole family lives out there so I'm down almost every weekend.

i live in the chicago area for the most part, right now i'm overseas on a trip for school, one of the things i miss most is not being able to watch the cubbies kick ass every day,
and hopefully i'll get meself a 100 posts soon enough
