i'm very VERY inexperienced with sorts of pill popping, i've done vicodine and codeine a handful of times recreationally but thats about it. as of late, there's been alot of these oxy type pills and my friend just got some.
now i hear these things are pretty damn intense, and i tried erowiding but the information is very scattered.
can anyone give me a lowdown on the whole "oxy" thing, the different names for different types, commong doses, all the speel, and if it's even a good idea to do, and possible dangers and what not.

it is a great drug, umm...it depends what kind you have. If you just got instant release oxycodone mixed with acetaminophen pills, it would be best to just eat them. If you got some kind of time release 100% oxycodone pill, you should snort it, or IV it.
I would give you dosing advice...but that is not allowed on this site. Just take it easy your first time, because some people get sick easily from those. If you have had hydrocodone and codeine you probably won't have an allergic reaction.

when you get them, or if you have them, type in pill identification in google and look up the pill ID. Usually will tell you how many mg's, what else is in the pill, pictures, etc.

but if you are able to ALWAYS have the drug you are physically dependent to, what does it matter if you are addicted? You can feel great all day every day.

i'm not really worried about addiction, i've seen opiate lovers go crazy for vicodin even and for me it was just a fun thing, i'm sure oxy will be a much stronger high, but i can't really see myself falling for it, i'm already addicted to acid! 
yea hopefully it'll be a great time, i'll take a picture of the pill when i get it.

if you are prescribed the drug, it's not bad at all
if you buy it on the street, prices are often ridiculous
you will blow massive amounts of $$$ on the junk, which could go towards food/taxes/transportation/bills/etc
once you run out of cash, you're in for a couple of days/weeks of hell

You'd recommend that someone IV oxycodone but you won't suggest a dose because it's against the forum rules?

I didn't tell him just to IV, I told him that you generally snort or IV the oxycodone in the time released forms.

as far as I know, theres oxycodone and oxymorphone.
hmmm...if you can, before you purchase it or w.e, you should ask to see the pill I.D. and look it up.

5mg can make you very sick if you have no tolerance to the drug

what no man. oxycodone. that is the name of the chemical. oxycontin is a brand name extended release preparation. Percocet is instant release mixed with tylenol.
