 PC Game

What is a fun PC game to play? I'm running a decent system. I don't know which game to try out. I've got 2 gigs of ddr2 ram and a 512ddr2 video card

what kind of games do you like? My favorite games are Warcraft 3, Starcraft, CoD 4

I like RPG's, so I'd recommend Morrowind, Oblivion (both Elder Scrolls), and Planescape (great game that no one's heard of). If you're in the mood to fire off a few rounds, Day of Defeat:Source is a great shooter. If you like MMO's, Age of Conan is waiting.

bf2 has been one of my most enjoyed games, but i havn't played it in a while. Diablo 2 keeps me buzzy but im really bored of that to, no many games are doing it for me these days. i bought cod4 and thought it sucked, they candied it up with so much graphics you can't focus on anything, actually gives me headaches and makes me feel old.
far cry was awsome, so i assume crysis is pretty good if your rig can handle it

I would definately recommend Morrowind and Oblivion as well, as far as RPG's go.
As far as MMORPG's go.. World of Warcraft. However, I would not recommend getting into that game but, if that genre(?) interests you, WoW is where its at.

i guess well have to agree to disagree. ive always preferred more of a pk-looter griefer play style, and you have very little of that in the games that come out these days.
SB and especially UO were the shit when it came to making other peoples lives miserable. hehe. and the game was much easier to manipulate.. in wow I felt limited, kinda like I do when I get a verizon cellphone... 'wow this has such potential but they've totally crippled it.'
Darkfall comes out this year, supposedly... i would look into that one.

Its a nation building game played online where you dont need to install any software. I play with a couple people from here and from another website that I visit. We have the 11th ranked alliance in the game, if you join make sure you join in Alpha world.

thats really all it is. You put up buildings, each building serves a purpose. and you upgrade your buildings, build an army, ect ect.
After you go through "first steps" you should have a good grasp on the game.

I like pvp looter games as well. Helbreath is one that I've played for along time. It is very similar to Diablo.
