 Gauged Ears?

Im thinking about getting my ears gauged and i wanted to know what everyone thought about it. Does anyone here have their ears gauged? Pics? I also wanted to know what the process is to have it done, do they just pierce a bigger hole then normal? And, do small gauged close up eventually if you take them out?

you have to work your way up. although ive seen videos on youtube where they straight pierce it to a 4 or 6 gauge. idk much about piercings though. i prefer tattoos.

ou do in fact have to work your way up. start with like a 14 gauge or something of the sort and every couple months go like a few gauges bigger.
i do not have gauged ears but want to do it as well. i have small ear lobes and dont know if i would look right with them though...

nipple piercings don't hurt...go for a big guage dermal punch rather than a pierce and stretch in your ear...instant gratification.

usually you work up, but you can get it pierced to a larger guage which is called a dermal-punch, but unlike straight stretching, you take a giant chunk of flesh out and youll have a big nasty hole forever. i had somewhere close to 3/4" back in high school when it wasnt cool to do that, now im just letting em close up.

im wearing .5 s right now...you can get there fast but dont rush or youll tear and slow healing, I git willy nilly and tried to stretch too much too fast so take it slow,...id say if you get pierced with like a 10 or 8 you could be @ .5 in a few months...

i used to work in a piercing shop. i got addicted to stretching. i took my earlobes from a 20 ga. to a 00 ga in about two months. you shouldn't do that unless you want some fancy scar tissue.
after reading a fuckton about fahkir musafar, i also stretched my nipples to 00 ga. that was a much slower process, though. i made my own tapers with super sculpey clay. i highly advise this method, as it is super cheap and you can set your own pace.
i would make talons that tapered ever so slightly, wear em constantly and push em through a little more each day.
i stretched my tongue to a 2 ga and my tongue webbing to a 6. the only thing i still wear nowadays are nipple rings. they have been dropped to about an 8 ga.. i wear 10's in em and you can see through the holes when i pull em.
makes for a great party trick... "hey! let me see 2 hangers and 6 pairs of jeans. i gotta show you somethin..."

i've got mine at a 0ga. that's the biggest i'll go. i stretched them myself over the period of a month or so. it's fairly easy and didn't hurt too bad.

i got my ears pierced on my birthday let them heal for 6 months or w/e and by my next birthday i had 1/2" gauges

mine are at 00g, that's as big as they'll go
there's no set ammount of time for stretching from one size to the other, whenever your ears are healed and stop feeling sore it's safe to go bigger.
by stretching, you'll be able to let them heal closed later, if you want to. if you get it done with a dermal punch, it won't heal and you'll have that hole there forever.
